Placing an Order:

To keep track of rewards and using my platform for communication with customers - a website membership is now required to place an order. Memberships are free! It best allows me to give out coupons and a reward system. 

​

I do not recommend trying to create multiple accounts for the initial $2.00 discount because you will never build points and ultimately choose the smallest discount each time.

​

Cancellation:

What if I no longer want my order?
If you no longer want your sweets, please contact KayTell’s Sweets at least 2 days before your pick-up date. If you fail to do so, it will be hard to receive service from KayTell’s again. The deposit is still non-refundable.

​

If no one picks up the cake within the agreed time frame without communication, the order will be canceled no refund will be issued for, and the customer may not order again.

​

If you are running late, please communicate, or else the order will be an assumed cancellation.

Deposit:

Is there a deposit and how much is it?
For every order there is a 50% non-refundable deposit which is required. You may pay in full if you wish. Failure to pay the deposit within 12 hours of placing your order will result in it being rejected. There will be further directions at checkout.


Payment:

What are my payment options?

These options will be at checkout for you to see as well.

  • Cashapp at $KayTell

  • Apple Cash or Zelle at 443-600-2072

  • Card, which can be used at checkout or you can request an invoice by contacting us so that you can pay just the deposit on your card (Select Cash to confirm order for this option).

  • Cash, you may not drop off deposits. Only for the remainder.


Location:

Where are you located?
The closest cross-roads to my location is Belair Road and Moravia Road. Exact address is sent the day of your order, but do not worry, no longer than 2 minutes will be added to your travel time from those cross-roads.

 

Customization:

How do I order custom cake toppers or request a themed cake?
Toppers - Please contact me before or after placing your order with your name and email, I will be able to assist in the designing and pricing of the topper.

Cakes and other things - Please book a consultation.


Pick-up/Delivery:

What to do when I or KayTell arrives?

Picking up - Please let me know when you are on the way so your order can be placed to the side for a smoother transaction. When you arrive please remain in your car until I meet you at your car. I can sit the order down for you, or you can grab it from me. DO NOT DOUBLE PARK.

​

Delivery - I will let you know when I am on the way and share my location through apple maps (If possible) so that you have my live distance. When I arrive I will place it on your doorstep, or whatever you have set up for the exchange, and remain in my car until you retrieve the order.

Placing an Order:

PLEASE CHECK OUR AVAILABILITY SECTION BEFORE ORDERING!
•    If you are able to place an order through the website, please do so; however, if you really need assistance, I am more than happy to help.
•    All cupcake orders must be placed at least 5 full days in advanced.
•    All cake orders must be placed at least 10 days in advanced.
o    If an order is placed without the proper time frame, it will be cancelled, and any money paid will be refunded.
•    Be sure to select any add-on you’d like. 
o    If there is not an option for something you’d like, place it in the notes and you will be contacted concerning any extra charges.
•    Within 12 hours of placing your order, if you do not pay in full at checkout, you must send a 50% deposit to KayTell’s Sweets in order to secure your spot. [Refer to the Payment Section].

 

Deposits:
You will not be reminded or pressured to send a deposit, just know that the order is not secured until payment is received.
•    Deposits are 50% of your total.
o    [$TOTAL÷2= DEPOSIT]
- DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
•    Deposits must be sent within 12 hours of placing your order.
o    Failure to send one, will result in your order being cancelled.
o    This does not mean you cannot place another order when you are able to provide a deposit, yet you can not keep the same date if it is no longer 3 days in advanced. [Orders that are a dozen or less may be done, please contact me].
•    Refer to Payment Section to see how to secure your order.


Picking up and Delivery:
KAYTELL'S SWEETS DOES NOT DELIVER CAKES, SO SORRY.
o    If you need to pay your remainder in cash, please let me know if you need change.
•    Before you arrive to pick-up, please contact me when you are at least two minutes away, this allows me to grab your order for a smoother transaction.
o    I highly recommend if you order a cake, to bring someone with you to hold the cake steady throughout your ride. Pick-up location is surrounded by steep hills.
o    The best place to sit your order in on the floor of your car. HAVE AIR ON. You may have to be cold.
•    When expecting a delivery, I will drop the order off at your door (if contactless is selected) or hand it to you, then remain in my car until you retrieve your order.
o    If you wish, you may leave a something [i.e. a towel, table] for me to sit your order on.

 

Storage:
•    Orders are in a fridge all the way until the moment you pick-up or before they taken for delivery – yet I still suggest you keep them in your fridge until you need them.
•    Heat is NOT kind to cake, please keep them in a cool place before, after, and during your event, because they will MELT very fast.
o    Cupcakes will hold longer, but cakes are heavier and will slide.

 

Payment:
At check out you will be presented with two options; Cash or Card.
•    Select the card option if you wish to pay in full using your card.
•    Select cash if you wish to use another platform and/or pay only your deposit.
•    Selecting Cash means that you may…
o    Request an invoice to pay your deposit using you card via email or text.
o    Send your deposit or full total to my Cashapp or Apple Pay.
•    Cashapp is $KayTell or 443-600-2072
•    Apple Pay is 443-600-2072

•    The best way to get in contact with me is through text or email. 
•    If you prefer to call, please schedule a consultation through my website.
o    This is mostly for people who wish to sit and plan out an entire order.
•    If you just have a few quick questions and wish to call, please shoot a text or email before you do.
o    Example: “Hello, my name is CUSTOMER, and I would like to speak with you about _____ (i.e. placing an order of cupcakes) for xx/xx/xxxx. I am free during these hours ____ today and tomorrow and would like to hear back from you.”
    This allows me to either call you back or be on the lookout for your number.
